Coca-Cola Plans New Plant in MP

The Coca Cola Company is planning to set up a bottling plant in the Richai industrial area in Madhya Pradesh.

The plant would come up at an estimated cost of Rs 16 crore, company officials said today.

"The company plans to spend about Rs 11 crore for installing modern machinery and allied services," they added.

At present, soft drinks sold by the company, including Thumps Up, Limca and Fanta, were supplied to the region from Nagpur in Maharashtra and Bilaspur in Chhatisgarh, officials said.
