Activists for Closure of Coca-Cola Plant in Jaipur

Jaipur: Alleging the multinational giant Coca Cola of polluting the atmosphere and creating water shortage in the area, social activists of Rajasthan announced here today to lock its plant in Kaladera near Jaipur.

Social acitvists would hold a demonstration at the gate of the Kaladera plant and lock it on December 11, convenor of the Jansangharsh Samiti, Sawai Singh told reporters here, adding freedom fighters would also take part in the agitation.

Mr Singh said that to make aware the public of WTO, a March would begin from Alwar on Saturday. The march will reach Kaldera on December 11.

He said Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has also been given a memorandum to close the Coca Cola plant as the Kerala government have already closed a plant of this company in Plachimada.
