Coca-Cola Revamps Top-Level India Team

NEW DELHI: In a major organisational revamp, Atul Singh, India division
head of Coca-Cola, has appointed three new vice-presidents who will
be responsible for region-wise sales. He has also created a new position,
that of vice-president (corporate strategy), and appointed a new man
to spearhead marketing.
Milind Sathe is being brought from Coke Russia to head the South and
Western regional operations while Sumanto Dutta is coming from Atul
Singh's former office in Coke China to look after northern sales.
Venkatesh Kinni, who has worked in Coke India and Cadbury's, is being
appointed vice-president (marketing) whereas another former Coke India
employee - Sandeep Gutpa - is the new head of corporate strategy.
Vikas Chawla replaces Jaspal Singh as vice-president for franchisee
bottlers; he comes from Coke's Sri Lankan operations. Vineet Kapila
will continue to look after the South-West Asia region.
